Self-efficacy

Children’s Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale (Pastorelli et al., 2001)

 

Measures pupils’ beliefs in their ability to cope and succeed.
It examines whether pupils:


• Feel capable of handling challenges
• Persist when tasks become difficult
• Regulate emotions and behaviour
• Believe effort leads to improvement.

Self-esteem

Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1979)

Assesses pupils’ overall sense of personal worth. It captures whether pupils:


• Feel confident in themselves
• Hold positive self-beliefs
• Feel proud of who they are
• Avoid harsh or negative self-judgement.

Anxiety and depression

RCADS (Chorpita et al.,2000)

 

Assesses symptoms of anxiety and low mood. It explores whether pupils:


• Experience persistent worry or tension
• Feel sad, low or withdrawn
• Struggle to relax or feel calm
• Find emotions interfering with daily life.

ECR–RSS (Fraley et al., 2011)

Assesses pupils’ patterns of trust, security and closeness in relationships.
It captures how pupils:


• Feel safe or anxious in close relationships
• Seek or avoid support when they need help
• Interpret others’ intentions (trust vs. fear of rejection)
• Build secure or insecure connections.
